Change color on my soft top

I scotch guarded my soft top 1989 Boxster and it looks okay but it brought out wear marks on the seams which are off color. I would like to change the color of the top and make it darker which would eliminate the wear marks and make the top look like new. I hope? fingers crossed. My question is; has anyone changed or painted there top. If so what product did they use?

Follow up on soft top

I didn't get any response to my inquiry so I did some more research looking for a stain or paint that could be used on the convertible soft top. I found a product that really worked well. Not sure if it will last but at the moment if looks super. I'm not going to recommend this product in case the soft top biodegrades at 80 mph and you come after me. But the name of the product is Forever Black, Black Top. I would love to post a picture of my top, but alas I cant figure out how to up load pictures.
