Maytag's Boxster Part-Out
Folks:
I think we all knew this was coming, haha.
I want to move to a Spec Boxster next year, and since mine is an '03 S, (not class-eligible) it needs to go.
Without a buyer for the car, I'm forced to part it. Shame, really. But it is what it is.
Here's a quick list I assembled a few months ago when I was looking at the feasibility of this.
In cases where I remember what I paid for it, I've noted that first, and then an anticipated sell price. If I haven't listed a sell-price next to it, it's because I haven't decided what it's worth yet. Feel free to make an offer.
I'm also open to offers on ALL of the parts, but let's not try to hose each-other, okay?
Most other / all parts are available as well, even if not listed here specifically.
ALL prices listed are PLUS FREIGHT, which I'm happy to do at cost.
I'll try to be patient for people needing a couple hours to send payment. IF you tell me you want something, I'll try to hold it for a minute, but I have offers coming on for a lot of things from a lot of people. Please be considerate.
Ultimately; it ain't yours 'til you've paid me, haha.
Also: if you choose PayPal to pay me, please use friends & Family. I don't want to pay the fees. I'm not a business, I'm your forum friend. IF you want to pay using Goods-n-Services, please add the appropriate percentages to your payment.
I think any of you who've done business with me on this forum will know that I've been easy to work with, and I have tried to err on the side of fair to YOU, rather than to me. That said: I've been burned here a couple of times, so please treat me nicely as well. haha.
None of these prices are firm, but I think they represent a fair value, kind of on the lower-end of what I've seen similar sell for. I'm open to offers, but let's play nice. I'm not desperate to move things.
If you need photos of anything, let me know. I haven't started pulling things off the car yet; my intention is to remove items as they sell. But if you need photos of something, I'll try to get to it.
11/20/20 - note that a revised list has been added at the current top of this thread (about 3 pages up). I'll be updating that list now, so please refer back to that for availability.

Dammit, I would have probably just made you an offer on the damn car. I just purchased rear sway/S brakes and am looking at Ohlins and the Deep sump.
Anyway, interested in the pan kit and headlights. Sent offer via DM.

If I wasn't having tranny problems I'd be all in. Good luck with easy sales!

Dibs on the clutch/flywheel, just need to confirm they’ll fit my 987
Edit: I’ll definitely take the flywheel if you’re willing to split it up, not sure the clutch will work with my 6-speed. Also, I have a turn key, consistent podium-finishing SPB I could sell you if you’re interested!

All:
MY PM Box was full, sorry about that. I've cleaned some space out of it and I've replied to everyone whose message I received. If I haven't replied, please message me again.
I've updated the message below, to show additional items as SOLD. And to clarify a couple of things.
first, I'ma try to be patient for people needing a couple hours to send payment. IF you tell me you want something, I'll try to hold it for a minute. But I have offers coming on for a lot of things from a lot of people. Please be considerate. Ultimately; it ain;t yours 'til you've paid me, haha.
second: if you choose PayPal to pay me, please use friends & Family. I don't want to pay the fees. I'm not a business, I'm your forum friend. IF you want to pay using Goods-n-Services, please add the appropriate percentages to your payment.

Good morning. I'm assuming you you are getting around to it. How's it looking today? Thanks a bunch. I am local this morning but this afternoon I won't be. No big deal but would make it easier.

It's probably going to be stupid expensive to ship but if you can get a quote to ship to a residence in zip 30533 I would appreciate it . I am only interested if they are OEM . Thanks

Sorry, there've been MANY inquiries on the durametric, and so far I've been reluctant to sell it. I think that's the only item I feel that way about, simply because without it, I'm helpless if someone needs me. SO: for the moment, I've removed it from the list below.
However: Note that there IS a PST2 available there!

I recently purchased an 01 S tiptronic with an FVD Brombacher sound version muffler. The rest of the exhaust is stock. I'm considering replacing the FVD with a stock muffler to decrease the drone at lower RPM's. What would you need total for an S muffler shipped to 80504 zip?

Maytag, I sent you a PM a while ago...haven’t heard back, but I’ll still take the flywheel if you have it.
