Honest John's (Mostly) Used 986 Parts

You want it? I've got it. Message me.

Here's a small sample of what is available. Most parts have only been used once.

IMS shaft. Mostly straight with an almost cylindrical shaft. The gears still have all of the original teeth and only show slight wear. Don't want to put it in your M96? Keep it on your desk, make a lamp, I hear that chicks really dig a guy with one of these.... $40 shipped USA.

Oil plug and crush washer. Oil plug is only partially stripped. Washer may or may not have been used. Can you torque it tight enough to crush the washer? Find out for $7.50 shipped USA

Three oxygen sensors. Probably bad. ...why not four? One was probably good. The wires and connectors on these really look almost good. You can splice them onto the really cheap 'universal' O2 sensors from AutoZone! $15! Shipped! USA!

The 6th rod. (The other 5 are being sold for big $$$ on eBay and it's best not to show this one with them.) Put it on display! Tell stories of you exploits at the track when the engine blew up. $15 shipped USA (Rien contre les Canadiens vraiment. Je vendrai aux Canadiens avec une adresse aux États-Unis)

Original Porsche wheel center caps. These are the ones that may cost hundreds of dollars with the metal emblems attached. I will not suggest that you look around the parking lot for loose ones at the next PCA meeting. The metal badges can often be easily removed with a plastic scraper. $20 for all Four shipped USA.

IMS Bearing. This is an original Dual Row bearing known to fail at a much lower rate than the later single row bearings. Only used once. Look at that nice granite counter top. I really should have shown more of it. The stone is called "Jaguar" and has an interesting pattern of gold/orange and black running through it. $15 shipped to states that start with an "A" or "N". I can not guarantee that this is legal in California.

Prices so low you should probably buy it all. Random nuts and bolts may be included at no extra charge.

Is this stuff really for sale? Yes, if you're really paying for it.

That's funny Paul! And, good morning! Yes... good morning and no, I haven't been drinking.

No. It's not me. Yes... I could come up with some pretty hilarious stuff (and I liked that used parts stuff... almost had me at that stripped oil plug (I was ready to blast the seller's ass until it dawned upon me he was messing around)... but I find it easier to run with a shorter fuse.

Swear: Not me.

Will you trade? I have a used water pump with only 60,000 miles. It's missing an impeller blade but the rest are good

Hey I have one with a wobbly bearing but the impeller is fine. We can combine the two and come up with one really good unit and one bad one. With shipping costs and labour we are looking at about a grand for two used pumps.

I bet that it's JFP trying to make a little money on the side by recycling old parts. Then again... Woody is a "John".

I have the original shocks, with 100,000 miles on them. They are worn out, but cosmetically are in excellent shape. $250 + S&H!
