WTB Cat converters for 2.5L

Just had Calif smog done. HC's are up so I'm going to start looking for some low mileage Cats while I have time. If you have some or know where to find some let me know. I have a 98 for reference. Thanks

I have a couple sets from 3.2's. Are they compatible?

Stock exhaust manifold catalytic converters

I’m not sure if these would bolt on. I know these are high mileage but they were working fine when I removed them and they should still be good to go. We can adjust the price to that.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately don't think so.

Unfortunately these are for the 3.2 S model with the cats in the headers and will not pass Calif smog.

Everything I'm reading says they are. The secondary cats on the 3.2 seem to be identical and interchangeable with the 2.7 and 2.5. At least according to parts exchange sites.

Woody? Or David? Y'all know about this?

Well Hope I'm wrong, but the pre cat 02 sensor on the 3.2L cars is on the header ahead of the convertor. So the mid pipes would only have the after cat 02 sensor, where the 2.5L cars have the pre and post 02 sensors on the mid pipes. Hoping to find the 2.5L pipes so I don't have to modify. Might have to sometime but that's why I'm starting the search early! Of course I may be wrong.

The manifold that I have from the 2.7l has bungs for both pre and post o2 sensors. I don't think I have any o2 sensors plugged into the mid-pipes. Your setup might be different as you may have both pre and post o2 sensor on your mid-pipes like you've said. I'm not sure if your manifold is monitored but it seems like you're looking for 2.5l mid-pipes anyways, similar to the picture below.

You're probably right, but when I hit the garage tonight, I'll take a look and see what sorta bungs exist on these.

Yep just like that. Both bungs are on the mid pipes as in the picture, Thanks for that.
