Not that it really matters, but that is NOT a real PST-2. That is a laptop running the PST-2 software with an interface card. The actual PST-2 is a dedicated machine that also has a built in basic scope and DVM.
I am sure that this can do 99% of what an actual PST-2 can do, and likely will do everything you would want to do, including programming DMEs and keys, but it isn't the actual PST-2.

to program keys, you also need the security codes from Porsche.
It can be problematic to get them from a dealer. You will need to prove ownership of the car

Exactly what I said you need the code. I got my codes from the dealer all I did was ask for them and they gave them to me.

You need both the key fob bar code and the security code from Porsche.
Some dealers are easier to work with than others YMMV

I wouldn't think so. You've demonstrated tenacity. Diligence. Persistence. Stick-to-itivness. I'd hold out for as long as it takes.
On a serious note... someone will stumble upon what could be a decades long thread and exclaim, "I need that".
You'll score. Remain patient. Remain vigilante.
Cheers!
