Which cover is that

I have your cover (I've got an extra set of them all), but I don't know the part numbers and they are in storage so I can't easily look at that. Shipping will be the issue especially if it is the cover under the middle of the car as that is oversized. All of them are lightweight, but the shippers will use what they call dimensional weight, instead of actual weight. But I'll look into it if let me know which cover you need.

Thanks,
Joe

It is the narrow tray closest to the back of the car. The part number is printed on it.

Joe,
I also need a splash cover for my 2001 S. I think the Porsche P/N is 99650452702 / 996.504.527.02.
It is a square shaped cover. Where R U in Central IL?

Yes, I checked that part number, 986-504-119-00. That cover runs from side to side across the front of the engine. I have worked on dozens of 986 Boxsters and that cover is NEVER complete. About 50% of the time, the cover is missing altogether and the remaining ones are broken somewhere. I do not have one that is perfect. Looks like you can get a new one for $150 ish. Let me know if you are still interested in a used one that has a broken tab or two.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Bootleg,
Your cover 996.504.527.02 is up front under the gas tank. I do have that cover in good condition. Do you have the metal clips that hold it in place? Or do you need them as well? I'll need to check to see if I have a spare set of clips. I'm in Decatur, IL 62526. Let me know.
Thanks,
Joe

This is for a race car. WOuld rather not spend $150 on a new one. Broken Tab or two doesn't matter, as long as most of it is there. Can you send a pic or two to my email, jordansimon68@gmail.com along with a price shipped to 10901?

Post Different part number

Hmmm, now I'm confused. I went to get photos of the pieces I have and noticed that the part number does not match what you have in the original post.

You asked for: 986.504.119.00
I have: 986.504.129.02

Typically, if there are changes to the part only the last two digits will vary as a new revision is introduced. When the last set of three digit numbers is different, 119 vs 129 in this instance, that would indicate a different part altogether. Using google images however it does appear that the two parts are the same, or at least the same at a glance. I'm wondering if the 119 was used on 97-99, and the 129 on 00-04 and that there are some slight differences that I can't detect because I don't have one of both. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up.

Here are a couple of images of what I have for sale. The bottom one is as close to whole as I've seen a used one. The one on top is rougher, but still usable. I saw that you were using them for track application. Are they mandatory? Let me know if this part number works for you.

Shipping is killing me

The L shaped cover has a suggested price of $54.50, and you might be able to get it for as little as $41.21 from Sunset/Suncoast in Sarasota. Shipping is everybit of $20 for me to you, so my price is going to be higher than $41.21. Suncoast shipping should be way less. If I'm wrong and you want a quote from me, I'll do $49 shipped, paid via PayPal.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for the info. I'll look at SUNCOAST, since I need another undercarriage section. I will get back to you this evening.

Hi, I know this tread was from a year ago. Do you still have one of the splash guards left. I need one for 99 Boxster. Thanks Vince
