I did make a copy paste error on the supported models for the rear links, it is corrected, but according to the Tarett site, the rears are the same for 986/987/981 (GT4 is different, I copy/pasted wrong and included GT4)

So still possibly a match?

I see what you mean, but as far as I know, our droplinks are the same front and rear, so this length difference is confusing.
Also unclear why the pricing is different for front and rear units.

The short ones seem to be the front units.

If you have the GT3 front sway bar you need short drop links to run them since the attachment point is different. Those run $275.

Then the rear drop links for the back, those fit either stock or Tarett adjustable, those are normally $225 I think.

If you run the OEM Boxster sway bars, and you want Tarett drop links, you would need 2 sets of the backs.

I think the Tarett fronts are more expensive, because they have beefier end links that are larger than the links on the back, I think to handle the bigger stresses when using the GT3 front bar.

So if you are running OE Boxster sways, you could probably sell your short fronts for $225 or similar discount and buy another set of the Tarett backs and still come out with a nice discount |

It is a nice upgrade, I had been piecing the parts together (used rear links in one purchase, then used front bar in another, then Rennline had a sale at Christmas that included Tarett parts so I got the front links and rear bar). I put them on this spring and have a few events on them, I could tell a difference.

At my first event with them (Tarett bars + M030 USA suspension) the car felt "firmer" and body roll was reduced, and I got to compare the setup with a student that had a base Boxster with H&R lowering springs and Bilstein sport struts. That car felt very similar - in my opinion the Boxster really benefits from a little firmness, whether it be from sway bars (easier to install) or stiffer springs/struts (more work to install...)

Combining them, the bars plus a more sporty spring/strut combo or coilovers like PSS9 or KSports or any of the others, I am hoping it helps evolve the car further. I am putting on some PSS9 this year and we'll see |

your deal on the Pss9s was mega. My h&r and Bilstein setup will be up for sale soon. I think I'm gonna try out Feal coilovers with spec boxster spring rates

Those Feal coilovers look like a sweet setup, and they have independent ride height adjustment instead of adjusting the lower spring perch like the PSS9. I know at least 1 guy locally from the Jax Solo autocross group that sent his other brand coilovers to Feal to get revalved. Supposedly Feal is the real deal.

That's nearly the price of a new set, and comes with new tops, and you could sell.your old set and make up the difference i bet.

well, kposrt rr (the race version) retails at $2200. their kontrol pro (which is what i have - the street/track version) is around $1300. say i sell my used ones at half price i get $650, which puts me at $1850 = a $350 a loss. plus the pain of finding a buyer for my old gear. so, is new vs reconditioned worth $350? also, does a feal rebuild create a better unit than the stock rr version? gut says yes. plus, feal can do a remote reservoir option. i mean, i'd love a jic set or something similar, but that is $4k +. a custom feal build might be just the ticket?

I see, you are upgrading to a new version, that would cost a lot more than the $1240, gotcha!
