Which side is the head?

Jeffex00 03-09-2018 06:34 AM

I'm sorry the head is for the 2003 not a 2000. They are a little different and not interchangeable. If you're still interested let me know and I'll check and get back to you.

Engines and engine parts gotta go

I want to empty my garage as I'm moving in the next few months. No reasonable offer refused. I found a set of 2000 996 camshafts I bought for a project and didn't use. I'll throw those in as well. Everything below including camshafts for $2000 plus shipping. That's more then 50% off and lots cheaper than anything on ebay. Pics on request. I check private email every other day or call 703- 887-6161

Jeffex00 03-28-2018 08:48 AM

Will it need just top-end rebuild or splitting case for crank/ rod/ bearing rebuild? I’m thinking of a cheap backup if my IMSB decides to go.

If I was purchasing a core engine I would expect to be rebuilding it completely. That would involve splitting the case. It's the only way to know exactly what your getting when your done rebuilding the engine. Hopefully that answers your question
