2.5L Engine -- good condition only

Spec Boxster friend lost his engine due to freezing weather.

Has a race in a few weeks.

Anyone have a running engine?

thanks,

Mike

Just curious, what exactly happened to your friend’s engine?

I’m DDing my Boxster in freezing weather all winter here, so I have to ask!

Okay, amen... I'm safe there with 50:50 mix, 12K-mile fresh.

Just curious

I had my sump plate off for cleaning today and it looks like there are two freeze plugs in there. Any chance the intermix in the 2.5 is from these? I'd think that would be an easier fix than replacing the engine.
