FS:17" Potenza RE-71R

For sale:
1 set (4 tires) of used Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires
These are the best DOT track tire going these days
Used for 4 track days, still lots of life left in them
I am selling because I sold the car and put "street" tires on it

size: F 225/45 r17
R 255/40 r17
These fit "stock" 17' Porsche wheels without a problem (had them on 17" turbo twists)

These are $750 new, selling for $400 including shipping.

Garage
It may be just the pic, but the tire on the far left looks pretty much gone on the inside edge. Looks close to being corded. Could be a lack of camber problem

sorry, just call em as I see em

You are partially correct. No camber problem, just several track days and it is the outer edge of the left front tire. There is a lot of tread left on the opposite shoulder and if you were to switch sides from how I had them mounted, you would be good for lots more life.

They are far from corded, just wear on the outer shoulder, totally safe to use if you switch sides with them.

Where are you in Chicago? I'm in Lincoln park and interested, though want to check out the wear on the tire in question. ALso need to see how similar or different the struts you have would be from an 04 S as mine are shot..

Thanks
