Who did you have repair the LCD? I have a 2002, and it's about the only bad thing about the interior of my car.

Its really easy to change out the LCD
I used the kit from 914 Rubber
996/986 LCD Display unit wth connectors (replacement kit)
Fast shipping and simple to do
Their kit has the exact same icons in the LCD as factory Porsche. Some of the kits out there are different

This is an easy fix for your '97, '98 and maybe newer
This price is much less than I paid to have the display fixed plus you get to sell your old module, a fantastic deal.
Somebody must want to fix that "rising sun", so buy this from me so I can get it off the shelf! Tom

not to take the wind out of your sails, but how is $90 less than $60?
No one doubts that you may have paid more to have someone fix it

Yes $90 is more than $60
That's clear and it's also clear that I paid the factory to fix it (rather than screw it up myself). And, don't forget that you get the fixed unit and also get to keep (sell) our old unit.
If you want to get yours fixed I want to sell this since it is doing me no use sitting on the shelf.
