FYI, but that fob isn't worth anything except as parts without the barcode tag they come with when new. Without that, the fob can't be registered to another car's DME by a dealer technician.

If you have access to a PST2 (local PCA?) or a PIWIS (friendly dealer), I believe either of these can be used to retrieve the key programming code from the car it is coded to. Otherwise, paperweight / parts key.

PST-2 just shows part of the code. Not the whole code. The partial code helps with deleting stolen or lost keys from your immobilizer. This is done by the process of elimination by inserting your remaining keys one by one in the ignition. What ever code is not matched, is the one you delete from the immobilizer.

The key is still usable. The Pill can be programmed, but you can’t program the remote part of it without the long code.
