The leather is in good condition. The silver horseshoe portion has some flaws as shown in the photos.

I have this in my car and like it a lot.
But as the voice of experience, I hope I don't offend the OP by pointing out that repairing that silver horseshoe is really, really difficult. In fact, impossible to get it back completely to the oem look.

No offense taken at all. I tried to post as many photos as possible showing the flaws. You can live with it as it is, which isn't that bad, or someone with some talent could bring it back to new. If I have priced it too high for what it is, the market will let me know and I'll lower the price.

I had a similar shifter boot on a car and it had that same problem. Out of curiosity I attempted to peel that coating off. If I remember correctly, that coating can be peeled off relatively easy. At least where it's bubbling up. The whole shifter/boot I had was junk, so I just threw it away and didn't spend much time completely stripping it. Maybe the trim part can be pealed off and painted if it bothers the buyer?
