WTB- Lightweight flywheel for a 986S

As the title states I'm looking for a lightweight flywheel ( Aasco preferred ) for a 2002 S.

I might need one too in my 986 Electric conversion. I read somewhere that since I wont have the engine but the DC motor, it is preferable to have the light-weight FW rather than the heavy one...

Need to understand what the light weight one does to confirm that is what I need. Perhaps someone reading this can help...

rfuerst,

Could you tell me why you are putting in a lightweight one, and what it will do for you? That may give me an idea. And how do you make out a lightweight one from a normal (heavy) one? Thanks.

Never mind I found a new one on Ebay for 425.00 so I grabbed it. PorscheFan5 I am going with a lightweight flywheel to go with the 3.6 L that Jake Raby is building for me. Most lightweight flywheels are around 12-13 pounds the OEM is around 30 ? I'm looking for quicker rev's due to less mass to spin up.
