2002 Boxster S headlight parts & questions

Hello all,
I am in need to two small parts for the left side headlight assembly. The fog light plug as it is missing, and the back clip-on door as the latch is broken.
Pics attached.
And now my questions....
I don't seem to have a front fog light, but I do have a rear. Is this normal or am I missing a wiring plug in the front. I wonder if that is why there is no rubber plug on the left, but there is on the right...I do have the fog light bulbs so was that just a standard to have them installed in all headlight assemblies, even if the car didn't have that option?
The green light on the lower left of my headlight switch is always on. Should it be?
I notice that when I turn on the rear fog light and orange light beside the green light then comes on.

I am not an expert in this but you will probably get more replies if you post this in the General or Technical Chat section. I believe all cars have the fog lights and no, it is normal for the green light to be on all of the time. One click out activates the fog lights in front and the green light illuminates. The second click activates the rear and the amber light illuminates.
