Edit: I realized that I should look at.your location, since the US regulations may not apply to you.

You must ask your Porsche dealer to activate the airbag override or the bar will do nothing. There is a fellow in UK who sells a reverse a engineered switch on eBay.co.uk, which works as the bar does. This is probably easier to find than the Porsche part.

Before you spend any money on this, check with your dealer or indie shop to be sure someone will be willing and able to turn in the airbag deactivation feature. No one in my area will do it, citing "liability". Porsche North America was no help, either. Basically, this is a feature of your car that you may not be able to access, even though the process involves getting permission from the US Department of Transportation and signing a liability waiver. What more do they want?

I have a used one with the bolts. I'll let it go for $110 + S&H. Let me know.

I got one from a dismantler (Oklahoma Foreign) with the buckle thrown in for a great price. Try one of them to see if they have one in stock. You will need a dealer or a shop to program the car so it thinks there's a child seat present when the buckle is in the bar.
