If anyone is sitting on the fence about doing business with Woody because you don't know him or any other reason I can tell you he is an honest seller. I had a tiny hiccup on a recent order and he corrected it immediately ! I believe he's an old school type where a handshake between two men is a deal. A pleasure to deal with and I will purchase more in the future when needed.

I only sell the complete caliper set of fronts and backs together. If I only sold the fronts, I would have a pile of rears no one would want. I do on the other hand have a lot of people buying all four.
Base=$350+shipping (I have 3 sets left)
S=$600+shipping(I have two sets left and they need both need repainting)

Rick, I have one black one that needs to be restored. The carpet is faded and peeling. It has some nicks on the middle sliding door and all four speakers need to be replaced. Nothing that can't easily be fixed. $100+shipping. I'll admit it's a little high for the condition, but I'm kind of holding onto it for myself. I can be bought though ;) I have pics if you or anyone else is interested.

I have two 99s that have had the plastic window replaced but the canvas is original on them. $275 includes the frame and everything as it unbolts from the car. I would guess shipping would be in the $250-300 range. The only pic I have of it is when it was on the car it came off of. It came off the pastel yellow one.

At that price I will take it so long as it's in good shape and will fit a 2002 2.7.

Hey Woody, I have had these sitting in my garage for years from a '79 F250. I know you are a Ford Truck guy. Got any use for them? One corner piece is missing. Free to good home...

Jon,
That dentside trim won't work on the mine. I'm into the 67-72 bumpsides, but thanks for the offer. Here's a pic of mine. I'm doing a frame off "restification" to it and have a long way to go. As of right now, it has the front suspension off a wrecked CrownVic cop car and the rear axle from a ford lightning. The axle has been flipped and the frame notched. I haven't decided on the motor/trans yet. I'm leaning toward a coyote motor out of a 2010+ mustang.

Did it match your paint?

The metal flaking is not exactly right but it is close enough, the difference is hard to notice.

Do you have a heater/AC temperature controller? My LCD is non-readable and the buttons stick. It's for a 2002 986 base model.

I'm also looking for...

courtesy light - near rearview mirror
driver and passenger sun visors (black, red)

Thanks!

I only have the HVAC control unit for the ones that use 4 plugs. You'll need to pull yours out and see how many plugs are connected to the back. I'm guessing you'll have two plugs connected and two empty spots. If yours has the 4 plugs then I have one for $50+shipping.
There are also two different versions of the courtesy light. One has a switch inside the rectangle light and the other is just a blank light cover. They both have those alien eye covers. I have both styles for $25+shipping
Sorry I don't have any good sun visors with the mirror cover is still attached.

PlusOne_986,
Thanks for the heads up and link. I'm going to check to see if my HVAC unit is compatible with the sellers inventory. If not, I may go the route of replacing the display. I'm not even sure my unit is working properly since I can't see what mode or settings it's in. Thanks again!

I was finally able to pull out my HVAC and your correct. It has 4 receptacles but only 2 were used. I guess your unit won't work with mine. I would like to purchase the rectangle light that has the switch built in. The tabs on mine broke. Let me know how to go about payment. Regards and thank you.

Do you have any wood dash trim to match my steering wheel and shift knob? I have a 2000 Boxster and I think trim from a 97-02 will fit.

This is the color that I'm seeking:

http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1413132237.jpg

I think it is called dark mahogany.

Thanks,

You're more than likely going to have to buy that new. I've never seen a boxster and I've only seen one 996 that had that trim come up for auction. Maybe Ebay?!

I think my wheel, shift knob and e-brake handle started life on a 996. I think this may be a long-term quest.

Do you have a non-smoker's tray to replace the ashtray?

OnFire 10-13-2014 11:03 PM

Hi Woody, I'm back.

My car had aftermarket axles put in about 1,000 miles ago, which replaced a set of after market axles. I'm trying to avoid this problem and see if you have any low mileage, and/or high quality OEM Boxster S axles, complete, shipped to 60655. Price? Timeline?

Thanks,

OnFire

I don't but somewhere in this thread there was a conversation about where to get a brand new one for real cheap. I forget what company was selling them.

Sorry I don't. I do have some low mile base 5 speeds, but those won't work for you.

You're right Jack, but all the S rotors I have are under spec. :(
Now if you're looking for some base rotors? I have a few that look to be within spec. I will measure them if anyone's interested. $25+shipping each. I'm kind of surprised the "Spec Boxster" crowd hasn't hit me up for those yet.

I have this one installed on my car, 2000 S, Ocean Blue exterior, black interior. It is a perfect match; I am not sure where the "gray" part comes in.
