I finally got under the 2000 S I have and it looks like the motor has been replaced. Before the cars are shipped to the states, Porsche sprays cosmoline on the undercarriage of the cars. This motor has none and it looks real clean for a car with 90,000. Judging by the dirt on the motor, I'm guessing the motor has between 20-50,000. $3500 as it come out of the car.

Sorry for the short tease, but the motor and trans look to be sold

Check the Engine serial number -- I believe if it starts with an AT it has been replaced.

If it's factory new and you know the history -- you might be able to figure out who replaced it and when. However historically Porsche service centers are not linked together and you'll have to get lucky to find the exact one.

Mike

Mike,
I was about to start going down that path of trying to research it's history. I was confirming with Brad Roberts that it looked like a replacement and he said he would take it.
It was good meeting you at the PCA tech day. I'm really looking forward to seeing your 911 one of these days. Did you see pics of Mike's car after it was done? Looked real nice! I need to get busy on mine and maybe one day the three of us could have a little RSR parade. :)

Brian0icu812, Your mailbox is full. I found that small link you were looking for. I'll be busy until Tuesday though.

Luckyed, I don't have a good one.

A set of Porsche colored wheel centers, all four complete.

A set of 2003-04 rear tail lights, the white/clear tops with the red bottoms.

Woody,

Good to meet you too! Yes Mark's car looks awesome. What a transformation.

I do have a request -- do you have an S front bumper (or two) -- cosmetically challenged but structurally sound? could use the plastic support pieces too.

We're rebuilding the front end of our chump car... surprised how well it lined up.

We're going to make a couple nose clips -- because it's Chumps.....

Color doesn't matter. Could use a couple tow hooks too.

Thanks,

Mike, The only bumper I have is the one on the red boxster and it's in about 4-5 pieces. I have a few hooks I could get rid of. I usually sell the nice ones with the spare tire kits. You're more than welcome to come out here and look around if you want or I could meet you at your garage?

I'll have to think about the calipers. I really don't need the rears.

What about an Aerokit 1 rear decklid? The one that deletes the rear pop up spoiler?

NJBoxster2000 07-22-2014 11:21 AM

speedster humps/hardtop tie downs

Hi,
Would you have the set of the tie-downs (2 bolts 2 anchors) for the speedster humps/hardtop?

Thank you.

san rensho 07-22-2014 03:39 PM

Generally 97-99 have the same parts but I've come across a 99 that had 2000-04 convertible transmissions
Most parts are interchangeable from 1997 to 2004 though.

986_inquiry 07-23-2014 06:29 PM

what do you charge for a 2.5 engine?

993innc 07-23-2014 06:48 PM

Do you have a good right side cooling pod (behind the bumper cover, leads air to the radiator). Pass side. Also looking for a good red bumper cover.

I'm pretty sure I don't have any drivers sides left that I'm wanting to sell right now and I'lll have to check about the passenger's side. If I have any they would be $50+shipping each.

993innc 07-24-2014 08:55 AM

If you have one, consider it sold. Put me a price with ship'g to 28409 please when you get time. Trying to button up this car for sale. Thanks!

If you come across an Ocean Blue Metallic Driver's side wingtip / fin / thing (PN: 986.504.861.00) please let me know. It is located directly behind the door and in front of the clamshell and pops off with a credit card revealing two screw holes for the RTS.

Here is a link to a diagram explaining what it is, part 16. Thanks!

I don't have that model but I do have a very nice one that just came in on a 2003. I think it's a CDR23 but I'll have to reconfirm that. I'm also not sure if I have a code for it yet either. I bought the car in boxes

Thanks!

I need the springs which hold the parking brake shoes in place. Looks like
Part # 996-352-741-00.

Thanks. I need at least two.

OnFire 08-06-2014 10:38 PM

My items were received today in excellent condition. The padding for the roll bar and the floor mats were in better than expected condition. Wayne was quick in his responses and quick in his shipping. I will not hesitate to purchase from itsnotanova again in the future when the need arises.

Many thanks,

Dan

Do any of these boxsters have the plastic piece that fits atop the parking brake handle? It is attached to the brake handle and a portion of it slides under the center console. I'm looking for one in black. If you have one, how much?

Thanks
