WTB: Set of Litronic Headlamps

Looking for a set of Litronic headlamps for my 2000 S. Not looking for perfect condition. Does anyone have a set for sale?

Thanks,
Kevin

Any reason you don't want to do the projector retrofit? http://986forum.com/forums/diy-project-guides/48169-porsche-headlight-retrofit-%5B-cad-prototyping-finish.html

I looked for a good used set for some time. Cost was usually around $1200 for a decent set. I ended up buying a new set of Bosch clears and this retrofit kit for not much more installed. You also have some options. Just a thought.

Bruce, I would prefer a retrofit. However, I have oranges currently so the retrofit would cost me more unless I can find a good price on a used set of clears.

The last set of litronics went for $700. And the seller had them on ebay for a few weeks with no hits at $800 obo.

Maybe it's not often that litronics are available at this price... But just be because they are listed for $1000+ (retail & ebay) doesn't mean people are buying them.

I know that, just when I was looking, anything under $1000 seemed to have crazing or yellowing. YMMV:cheers:

Thanks Bruce. I actually have a RH clear. I'll have to post a WTB for a LH clear.
