Just an FYI, on large items like that, try Greyhound (the bus line) for shipping and it's often quite affordable
Also, freight companies are reasonable. I've shipped and received everything from full vehicles, to 9 ft tall and wide wrought iron gates, hardtops, etc and there is no way that anyone should pay anywhere near to $300 to ship an exhaust system, at least domestically.
