Sad news I am affraid,

Bearing looks as near as perfect as it could be. There was oil inside it but no pitting or play.
Terry what was your metal source and was it ferrous metal?

I would like to be in the loop myself. I snapped the flippin bolt while re torquing the bearing center nut. I will have no problem paying for shipping, renting or anything else that whomever may want. If the same tool goes around I think something special should be added to the box from each user so that the owner gets a good laugh or is reimbursed in some way. :) I have references here on the board if needed.

I just ordered the new bearing and would like to do mine next weekend (April 5-6). Is the kit still available for use? or anyone have a line on one I could borrow?
