Is the 160 degree thermostat just the thermostat or the complete housing? Any special tools needed to replace just the thermostat if that is what it is in a 1999 boxster?

The thermostat is a COMPLETE housing and comes with a gasket. Only tools needed are for the bolts that bolt it to the block. These are in a WAHLER box and the actual insert is stamped 71 for 71 degrees celcius.
