Boxster accessory
B SOLD
Hello,
After having sold my Boxster, I found a box of accessories and no longer can reach the buyer. Anyway, among the things found is this:
After scouring the internet, I can't find what it's called. It basically is designed to fit on the headrests and has a netting fabric stretching between the two seats. I would image this would be used as a sun diffuser if the light were coming in brightly through your wind deflector. The center section zips on and off.
Since I can't find what it's called, I cannot guess what it's worth - except that it's worth what you'll pay for it. So, make me an offer.
Thanks, Jim

It's a wind block, not a sun block. They make similar ones for the Miata. That's where I've seen them before.

I'll post pictures as soon as I return from Afghanistan and buy it. I drove two of them while I was home on R&R in Nov. The first was a 99 base. That drive told me I definitely wanted a Boxster. The second was a 2002 S. That drive convinced me I want an S :-) I'll be looking for a 2003-4 Boxster S, less then 80K miles, not red and no black interior (I live in Florida).

I saw cupel of nice ones on craiglist (and fairly priced too).
Take care.
And don't forget to come back here when you find one.

Don't worry, I'll still be here on the forum. And with pictures! I try to hit the site daily. I've learned so much and feel I'm fully prepared for Boxster ownership thanks to what I've learned from this and a few other forums. Only four months left on my tour!
