WTB: Childseat airbag bar

I'm looking for the childseat disabling bar for my 99 Boxster. My car is 13 years old, someone's kids must have have grown up by now!

If there was rarely used child seat to go with it that would be great. I need one thats for under 30 lbs. My son currently weighs 19.

I was looking too but eventually purchased from Sunset, seems like those are hard to come by. But the child seats are available from time to time. Check out this listing

Porsche Booster Seat

Good luck

I'll IM you on what I have (will need e-mail). My son is 5 and 45 lbs and I'm going to just go with a booster seat for him. I have the D bar and seat.
Sadly on the outside looking in.

I don't have a child, so not sure if this is a good seat (but it says it's original porsche on the ad). On the sf craigslist, there is someone selling a child seat for 37-100lbs for $75.00 if someone is looking for one. Doesn't come with the airbag deactivation bar (Just the seat and Buckle), but it sounds pretty inexpensive.

There is one for $160 on ebay now. I was considering it when my indie offered one for $100 with programming thrown in. Note you will need with your bar a) Porsche branded Britax seat to fit buckle on bar for airbag deactivation b) reprogram computer in car to recognize presence of deactivation bar c) longer front bolts for the seat rails - included if you buy the bar new.
