For sale: Two Porsche Boxster 2.5 liter engines complete, both from 1998 Boxsters with mileage around 44K or less.
One complete engine has one bank head assembly removed, where a very small object (very very small rivet head) fell into the intake and lodged in the cylinder head while running. Cylinder head and piston are okay and ready for cylinder head to be assembled, reinstalled and installed into vehicle.
Second complete engine is completely assembled as removed from vehicle with low compression in one cylinder. No oil and coolant mixed. Suspect bent valve(s) or cam timing issue in one cylinder or bank. Intermediate shaft is intact at rear bearing at flywheel end. Both engines are complete with intake manifolds, starters, water pumps, alternators etc. and to be sold as a pair priced together at $3500 firm as is. I will send pictures as requested.
