F/S 986/996 Speaker Upgrade System, OEM MB Quart rear speaker system - New

I have for sale a rear speaker upgrade package from Porsche. Still in the box with mounting clips.
Rumor has it that they are MB Quart speakers with a Porsche label over the Magnet structure. I have not pulled back the label, but have read where others have before install. They have sealed external crossovers and are for use in the rear seats of the 996 or in the front dash of the 986. Keep you car genuine and with better sound.

The speaker upgrade was for a 996, so there are 4 different part numbers (Left or right and depending upon whether they are dash or rear side panel locations) and two different crossover configurations (crossover is attached or detached from the speaker housing depending upon whether they are dash or rear side panel locations) .

The part number is listed on the box is in the description below (Part # 000-044-900-47). The individual numbers for speakers are as follows:

000 044 900 43 - Left Rear (separate crossover) MSRP $286.61

000 044 900 44 - Right Rear (separate crossover) MSRP $286.61

000 044 900 45 - Left Front (attached crossover) MSRP $367.88

000 044 900 46 - Right Front (attached crossover) MSRP $367.88

On the actual enclosure "000.044.900.45" is imprinted on both. The crossover though is detached. I assume that means that they were the right and left rear from the package. Each of the units has a separate color coded left and right cable with label and quick connect.

There are also front speakers which have the crossover physically mounted to the speaker. These are the rear speaker portion to the kit, but can be used in the front also.
