FS: Custom Exhaust - $250

Custom, lightweight exhaust for Boxsters. It should fit all 97-04 Boxsters (both base 2.7 and S 3.2 models), but it was specifically made for a 00 S.

It is easy to mount, fits perfectly, and saves a good 20 lbs over the OEM muffler. It sounds really good, but is too loud for me. Like all aftermarket Boxster exhausts, this one produces some unwanted resonance between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Sounds amazing from 3000 to redline.

Price: $250 plus shipping. Send PM, please.

do you have more pics? like of it on the car? and shoot from the bottom?

i'd like to see how it fits, as I have custom headers/cats, and was wondering if this would still work or not. my guess is that it should.

Sorry, but I wasn't smart enough to take pics before I took it off my car. It does fit excellent with the exhaust tips perfectly placed and sticking about 2" farther out then stock giving a more aggressive look. From behind you only see the tips and the bottom 1/4 of the polished Magnaflow resonators. In short, it looks really good.

Benny,

Unlike stock tips, these do not slope in has you go downward. They are vertical. I would say at the top they stick out about 1/2" more than stock and at the bottom more like 2 to 2 1/2" -- again, mostly due to the slope of stock tips.

I've pm'd my email address to you.

Just by looking at the photos, I'm guessing 16ga pipe with Magnaflow stainless mufflers (Part #642-14414) & 3" polished tips. If I estimate correctly, system weighs just around 12lbs

I've posted this before. Magnaflow 642-14414, 2" OD 16-ga aluminized steel mandrel bent pipe. I think with the tips it was 13lbs.
