Kinesis Racing forged 3 piece wheels

Hi I have an excellent condition set of 18" 3 piece forged Kinesis Racing wheels for sale. These come with very good Bridgestone SO3 tires. The model on my receipt says that they are K20's. Web research only shows them in 17" sizes. They look like K27's though. Regardless these were ordered for me at the Porsche dealership for my Boxster. I think they were actually a custom made fitment. I do know that I never had fitment issues and no spacers were needed. I believe that they fit 911 non turbos as well. I am not positive about other fitments but will try my best with any potential buyers.

I just had the centers of the wheels repainted a custom gunmetal and the polished lips re-clearcoated. No damage or curb damage to the wheels at all. I just wanted to change the color of the centers and to bring the clear back to as new. I had this done by one of the best shops in my area for $950 http://www.pantherwheels.com/

I honestly love the wheels very much, but I have had them on my car for awhile and wanted a change. This is why the color change but right after I dropped them off at the shop I found a deal on some SSR GT3's that I couldn't resist.

The rubber has tons of tread on it (I don't know how to measure it but I can send detailed pictures). The wheels look brand new except for the titanium fasteners. They are not a silver but more of a bronze or copper color. They came from the factory this way and I enquired panther about replacing them. They told me to keep them as they are very high quality and better than what I can replace them with. The wheel pro told me they are CAD coated titanium. I do not know what that means. They are a bit dirty and some even looks like there's some rust on it (I don't know why as they are titanium). Panther told me that I can clean them, but they didn't do it for me as there are 40 fasteners per wheel and it would have taken them a long time (more money too me). The guys told me to take the wheels home, clean them and wax the centers and I would be good to go.

Sizes are: Fronts 225/40ZR18 Back 265/35ZR18

My cost on this set is over $6000 before the $950 refinishing done by Panther. Asking $3500 plus shipping. I welcome comments on pricing (if the mods alllow it) but please be reasonable as these are high end, lightweight and trouble free wheels. I have never had cracking issues unlike my Techart Formulas or HRE's.

Here is some sample pricing that I found online:
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/kinesis-k28-wheels-18-c-4542_4809_4815.html

I will send higher quality pictures to interested parties.

Thanks and sorry about the long post. I like to be detailed.

I forgot to mention, Panther told me that they patched up the tires for me as they found 2 nails in the tires. They do excellent work and reassured me that the patches are good. I have used Panther for years.

I'll give you a bump. If I wasn't so broke I'd love them. Unfortunately I need new seats, window reg and front suspension arms first. Bump to the top for an awesome set of wheels.

Thanks silver arrow. I haven't mounted these since they have been refinished and balanced.

Do you guys want me to throw them on the car to show them off? It will take some time but might be worthwhile. Problem is if I put them on I may never want to take them off again.

The sizes are 18.8 and 18x9.5

I can't find the exact weight info on my wheels but I did find this and it should be fairly representative/accurate:

Kinesis K20 Forged/Spun 17x10 20.0
Kinesis K20 Forged/Spun 17x9 19.5
Kinesis K28 Forged/Spun 18x8.5 21.5
Kinesis K28 Forged/Spun 18x9.5 22.5

Very lightweight considering the strength of the wheels.

Taking offers. Just try!

Strange, everyone that has seen these wheels in person loves them. Why isn't there any interest online? Price drop to $2600 for all 986 foum members. I need some cash for a project and am willing to take a hit on them right now.

Do you have any pictures of how wide the lip is on the front and the rear? Also how is the tread wear on the tires? And just wondering, do you have any pictures of these wheels on your car?
