Touch up paint

One of the previous owners of my car apparently opened the drivers door into pretty much anything it would reach. There are several small paint nicks on the very edge of the door. I would like to touch these up. I wanted to get some opinions on the touch up options that are out there and who has successfully used them. The color is arena red metallic.

I've heard that reds are hardest to match because of fade over time, so if it extends much into the door, you may do best taking it to a shop for touch-up.
I just ordered some paint form an eBay vendor (also on Amazon) to respray a bumper, but haven't received it yet. The brand is "Touch Up Express" and they stock the Porsche colors in a wide variety of products.

Dr Colorchip works well on door edges. I have a 50-50 chance of it looking good on hood chips.

Thanks guys. I am considering stopping by a local shop and seeing what they think about it, unless there is a consensus of “ use this it works awesome”. I’ll look into Dr. Colorchip. Let us know how the bumper respray turns out.

I have orient red. I went to a local auto body paint shop and got single-stage paint. The small can was about $15 and a great match. Used a tiny brush and tiny applicator (like qtip but smaller) to touch up.

+1 for the Dr. ColorChip. I don't know why I didn't think of that one earlier, but it really is the go-to for small chips.

Also, I remembered jcslocum's Boxster restoration, also Arena Red. His car was a complete mess when he started on it. Here's the thread, well worth a full read:
