Yes and No. The process went like this:

A. I bought a new, unprogrammed cluster off eBay (just $275!) because my original one had a bad LCD segment. It is a 2.5 tiptronic cluster (notice the redline at 6500). I just took my right manual gauge face for the temp and fuel and stuck it over the lights for the tip gears and no one knows the difference. Since there's no electricity going to that part of the cluster, it doesn't light up anyway).

B. A year and a half later, I bought the silver TechArt gauge faces off eBay (just $71) and put those on. The bonehead employee of the speed shop in CA listed them to end at 3 am CST and no one sniped them but me, the early bird who set the alarm and woke up to buy them cheap.

C. The trim rings were a Christmas present from the wife two years ago, also bought off eBay for $105 (normal price... which is still too high for stupid aluminum trim rings if you ask me!)

...and that's why we now call your uncle "Aunt Mike."
