Hi guys.
I am currently building an audi coupe quattro with an audi S2 motor in the stock location. I just bought another coupe quattro and I am allways looking for a challege. Why I am on this forum? Well you can probably start to guess what I am considering doing.
Mid engine 5 cylinder turbo 20vT with rear wheel drive. I have most of the swap figured out in my head.
Basically I remember reading an article in european car about an older 914(I think thats it, but my porsche love is far distant than my audi love) with a 1.8T audi motor. I remember reading that it stated that the porsche boxster tranny is the same as some audi transmissions. Basically I am wondering how the shift linkage works on a boxster tranny and also how the clutch mechanism works?

It's a cable mechanism on the shifter If I remember right but how does the clutch activate the throw out bearing?
