I found a large ground point immediately behind the gauge cluster.

Simply press the hazard switch and it will pop out slightly. You can then use a thin screwdriver to pop the cover of the switch off by inserting it from the side (look for the notch). This exposes a torx bolt. Remove the bolt.

On the other end of the cluster is a small circular grill. Pop it off and it will reveal the second torx bolt that requires removal. Once removed, simply pull upwards on the entire cluster/hood and it will disengage the three pop clips retaining it. You don't need to disconnect the cluster.

Once out, imediately behind the cluster and above the steering column are two obvious ground points secured with 10mm bolts.

I haven't done this yet, but I've got an inline power filter on the way. I'll install it at the same time I correct the grounding issue.
