Dude, you got suckered. I would attempt to return these parts for a refund. I paid around $1 200 for those parts around 4 years ago and performed the exchange myself. If you have trouble selling them or can't get a refund, install them. It is a worthwhile hack, and really updates the look of the car. The original Boxster headlights always remind me of 1968 VW headlights.
