I also purchased a used 03 (with 2900 miles on it last year) that was Porsche Certified. I haven't had to use the warranty yet, but from what I understand it extends the original coverage by 2 years or 100,000 miles. I don't think you need to buy additional coverage.

Someone on this forum will probably know what the condensation is, but if not, I'd just take it in and let the warranty cover it.
