with a '99 you [should] already have the pizza box that houses the rear speakers. It has a sliding doors in the middle and 2 cubby holes right behind each seat. You can go OEM or PNP (both can be found on ebay). I did PNP. The kits all have 2 pairs of 3.5" mounted in the outward storage area of the pizza box. You can hook them directly up to your head unit (which drives them w/ 18W each), get a separate 2 ch amp, or find a used 6x40 amp from a 996 and swap it in where your stock amp is.
