my situation is a bit different but here is my plug for revo. After the 3.4 swap, I was still running the stock 986 2.7l maps. It ran ok, but there was a flat spot at 5k, which was associated with the changing over of the resonance flap in the intake manifold.

I contacted GIAC and they would not do any remapping for my situation. They actually were against remapping for this swap, so they said.

I then looked at revo and contacted them. I got a "custom" ecu remapping from the head programmer of Revo in England that installed the 3.4 maps into the stock 986 ecu. This was done by Hergesheimer Motorsports in Lake Forest. Bruce Hergesheimer was very helpful and personally handled the reflash, and over the course of 6 hours we got the revo guy to write the code, and then loaded it into the car. He wrote the code to account for the intake and headers/cats as well.

what a difference it made! No more flat spot at 5k, and a definite improvement in the throttle response, more "peppy" (theres a scientific term) engine feel as well.
It pulled harder in each gear. I am sure that it added a good 15 to 20hp, based on the change in feel. When I dyno it, I will have more definite numbers. But the change was not "wishful thinking" by any measure.

You will not go wrong with revo.
