Good points all.
I agree that I need to carefully examine the terms of the agreement.
I also plan to ask about transferability, payment plans, level of coverage, etc.
But it seems there is a recent law in California, as I am finding out, that says you can only get an extended warranty through from the dealer through which the car was purchased.
So my options may be limited.
