Ok, this is just a car, but what is that person going to do in other situations? Say, given the opportunity to vote.

I don't feel I have to justify myself. I hardly responded to the guy even. But the mentality itself is bothersome.
I guess I don't get your point. Virtually all of us have opinions and positions on virtually everything. That is a fact. What are you suggesting we do about it?

If someone expresses an opinon to me that I consider to be ill founded, I have largely given up trying to change their point of view. It rarely works and it is rarely worth the effort. Just consider the source and move on.

Don't try to teach a pig to fly, it simply angers the pig and wastes your time.
