Actually I moved "Back" to Texas
(Besides... California, Arizona and New Mexico is still part of Texas right?)
And before being re-admitted I was able to take (and pass) the Texan Nationality Test (TNT)

I think you have to live in our great state for a lot longer than that to be naturalized. I've lived here 40 years and my wife, who was born in Texas says I'm still a "damn yankee" <-- born in Harrisburg, PA... home of 3 mile island.
