Hi,

Sorry to hear about your tire and more than likely your rim too.

You could try any of these:

Although, it didn't seem from your posting that your car was sitting idle, but try this one anyway. This is quoted from Randall: "Also, if the car sits idle for over a week, the key remote is not "seen" by the car and you'd have to put the key in the door, turn on the car, turn it off and then push your rear trunk release button."
