Interesting. Stock set up on the 17s is 205/50 fronts with 255/40 rears. On the fronts, I was considering going from to the 225/45 size, as many folks have done this to reduce understeer, and keeping the rear tire sizing the same. Sounds like there isn't much benefit from doing this though.
