I was taking my headlights out so I could resmoke the turn signals and I saw the trunk release cable just chillin out. I remembered an old post about moving it to the tow hole so I just grabbed the cable and moved it to the tow hole. I had to fish a paper clip in the hole and pull it through. Its pretty hard. You pretty much have to get the tip of the cable near the opening because it will never go through sideways. So, in short, take out your passenger side headlight, grab your cable, aim it at the tow hole, pull it through, and put the cap back on. Its infinately easier than taking your bumper off and it only takes about 2 minutes. A very good insurance policy if I must say so. Try it!
