It’s a 5 chain engine. (Regular variocam). It will run on the 2.5’s DME. I eliminated the rear crossover flap in the intake and used the 2.5’s wiring harness and the 2.5’s intake crossover and throttle body so I could use the cable. The fuel rail, I can’t remember what it came from either a 2.7 return type or a 3.2 or 3.4. It was 2 years ago and I tried so many different rail setups. Finally got one that worked off of a member of this forum and traded for my 2.7 returnless rail. That is the reason for the original question. When the engine was installed, I was dumping fuel on bank 2. Didn’t know if the slightly increased flow rate was the reason and all indications are that it is not. I ordered a set of new injectors and will swap out after the holidays so that I have a known good (I built a setup to flow check) to proceed with my troubleshooting. The only other thing I had to do was swap the coolant temp sensor. Basically the DME thinks it is a 2.5. It should easily compensate for the slightly increased displacement until I get it sorted. I have most of this on video if you are curious. I am not trolling for views as my videos are far from being monetized. Just did this to help a little and to have a video record of the process I followed. Chanel is here:
