Apart from the mirrored tang positions on the bearings, the key physical differences between the 2.5L and 2.7L cranks come from the longer stroke and counterweight design. The crank carriers (main caps) will likely be machined to provide more clearance for the additional stroke and counterweights. If you can get your hands on the service manuals or parts diagrams for both engines, they should provide a more detailed comparison of the crank and Automotive bearings differences.
