if the alarm is sounding the hood will not open ..
did you try hooking up battery .. putting key in door lock to unlock door to cancel alarm mode
then press the hood popping button in the remote.
i think the issue is when alarm goes off it wont allow access. so you need to satisfy this condition.. may not have enough juice to recognize car has been unlocked..
