Hello 👋 Cheap Divorce special

I picked up a 2000 Guard Red Boxster Tiptronic for my wife, but I find myself enjoying it as well.

It has had an altercation with an immovable object on the right rear quarter but I had a paintless dent repair and it's 90% of the way to perfect. Looks great at speed.

Finished up ATF flushing and filter along with plugs. It drove like a dog. I found the MAF sensor turned the wrong direction in the housing, and the plugs...well I'm surprised it ran 5mm gap anyone?! This thing has obviously been neglected.

It's got new rotors and pads all around, came with the Bentley and 101 projects book. I've changed the oil twice now in about 1000km because it seems to be very varnished internally.

It came with gasoline that was so stale it smelled like it was running on paint thinner. Grabbed some BG 44k and been running that through each fill up of 91 (nothing higher near me).

My pop has an 03 Manual so I had something to reference and this thing seems to be running pretty well now. I have to do the engine mount and probably the transmission mounts but I'm saving that for the winter months.
