It's strange that he could have found many other tracks, not just in Germany. For example, this year MSVT Racing will be taking place in Spain, and as far as I know, they’ve been doing this for a long time. I mention this because he could have rented that track, and it’s probably cheaper than in Germany.
Was he risking all of this just for views? I doubt he made much money from it. It seems like an opportunity that could have been turned into a big show, similar to how races are run, but without other competitors. He could have set up multiple cameras, not just inside the car, and showcased more than just speed - some other maneuvers, making it a longer video with various angles. And with proper sponsorships, it could have been much bigger. Many gambling or betting companies sponsor events like this and could potentially be sponsors here as well. For example, I’ve come across several articles describing how sites like
somagyarcasino have sponsored various exhibitions or competitions related to sports or similar activities. Essentially, this could be organized as a show or exhibition of fast cars, with demonstrations of driving and showcasing the technical features.
P.S. The video almost looks like CGI, though I could be wrong.
