It was included in the Pelican Parts IMS Bearing Retrofit Kit. I thought it was a retainer not the slip ring.

If you are even contemplating using the pelican retrofit on a dual row engine, I have one word of advice: DON"T. You would be replacing the known most durable IMS bearing with the one that has suffered the most failures.........
