My theory is that that the headlight washer nozzles are lost when the edge of the socket that holds the nozzle in place cracks and is no longer able to hold on to it tightly enough to hold it in place when the headlight washer is activated. If this is indeed the case, be aware that any replacement nozzle you install in the original socket will also likely go flying if you attempt to use the washer thus making the headlight washers practically nonfunctional. Personally, I don't see this as great problem as I think whole concept of headlight washers is rather silly... In any case, having an empty nozzle socket just looks wrong. My solution to the empty socket problem was use nonworking replacements that my son designed and printed on the 3D resin printer. These replacements are purely cosmetic and that's OK with me because I can't imagine actually using headlight washers anyway.
