If the specs in the filter are nonferrous (not attracted to a magnet) and small in total number, I would not be concerned. These engines are predominantly one or more aluminum alloys, and flakes of that material will show up in small but regular amounts in the filter. If the flakes were ferrous in nature, I would be more concerned.
